Annie Ramsbotham

Media Manager and Alumni Relations

Annie had the unique opportunity of growing up at Falling Creek when she moved there at the age of 9 with her parents, Yates and Marisa Pharr, and her younger sisters. Annie has previously worked at a few nearby girls’ camps in the area, including summers spent as an Assistant Program Director, a cabin counselor, and as a mountain bike instructor. She is passionate about cycling, and started a mountain bike program at a nearby camp for girls, as well as founded the county’s NICA youth cycling team, the Henderson Hellbenders.

Annie graduated from Appalachian State University with two degrees in Recreation Management and Sociology, focusing her Honors thesis on the benefits of camp.

She has since returned to Falling Creek to work as the Media Manager for both traditional and social media. She is the editor for the Grow & Behold magazine publication, writes blogs, keeps the website current, and manages Falling Creek’s social media accounts. Annie also heads up our Alumni Relations.

She and her husband Zeb were married at Falling Creek in October of 2019. In her free time, she can be found riding her bike or painting watercolor.
