Jeff Killebrew
Staff Recruitment and Development Director
Jeff grew up the son of an Air Force pilot, moving from state to state every few years. Even as a young elementary school student living in VA and taking family vacations to the Smoky Mountains, he fell in love with the creek walks and all sorts of outdoor adventure.
He gave his life to Christ as a sixth grader, graduated high school along the white-sand beaches of the Florida panhandle and studied advertising and business at the University of Florida. It was not until his work with Desire Street Ministries in New Orleans that Jeff began to recognize his passion for camp. It was there he saw young people’s lives being transformed. He saw how God was using this setting to impact and redirect lives in so many positive ways. He saw how he wanted to use his gifts and experiences to make that life-changing camp opportunity available to others.
He has since, among other jobs, served as Director of Marketing and Outreach at Camp Arrowhead for boys (here in Henderson County) and also as Camp Director at Barefoot Republic Camp in Nashville, TN. Prior to moving to the area, Jeff and his family lived in Franklin, Tennessee for 6 years, where Jeff worked as a manager for the Old Hillsboro Building Company.
He, his wife Heather and their children Chase, Holden and Millie, are excited for their new adventure as part of the Falling Creek family, impacting the summer staff and camper experience for many years to come.
