Sessions Descriptions

Falling Creek is a traditional boys summer camp.

Our camp offers a balanced program with structured instructional activities and outdoor adventures. There are several sessions to choose from to best fit a camper’s summer calendar, and goals for the camp experience.

Not sure which session to choose? Check out our blog article: “Which Camp Session is the Right Length for my Child?”

June Camp

Falling Creek’s June Camp session is 20 days and provides a great opportunity for first-time campers in 1st-9th grade who are excited about all that camp has to offer. It’s also a logical next step for a boy who has attended a shorter session. The June Camp session offers a wide variety of activities and allows boys an opportunity to build self-confidence as they improve their skills and enhance their friendships. Campers live in cabin groups of eight and choose their six favorite activities to make up their daily schedule.

They also have an opportunity to participate in many out-of-camp trips including mountain biking, paddling, rock climbing, and backpacking.

Main Camp

Main Camp is Falling Creek’s premier session. Four weeks allows time for our camp community to bond and strong friendships to be formed. Campers in 2nd-10th grades experience personal growth as they build on successes each week. Longer trips are offered and opportunities for leadership are a central focus. The FLINT program for 10th grade boys and STEEL (formerly the Counselor-in-Training) program, Honor Council, and many traditions that take place the last week of the session are only offered during Main Camp. Most campers ultimately aspire to attend Main Camp.

2-Week Camp

Falling Creek’s 2-Week session is a well-rounded camp experience for boys new to camp in 1st-5th grades. The activity schedule is similar to June and Main Camp, with six daily activity periods, but with fewer out-of-camp trips.

Boys enjoy a wide variety of activities, and generally use 2-Week as the foundation for a longer session in the future.

Junior Camp

Junior Camp is six days long, offering the perfect introduction to camp for families looking for a shorter “sampler camp” session. Helping boys in 1st-4th grades have fun and build confidence away from home is the central focus. Enrollment is limited to campers in grades 1-4.

Boys sample traditional camp activities and stay with their cabin groups during the Junior Camp session.

Junior Camp runs differently from our other sessions. For more information, visit our Junior Camp Program page.

It is truly a blessing to have such a great Christian-based camp that teaches the boys values and how to become better individuals. Thanks for all of the time that you and your staff invests into making this camp what it is!
