Thomas Cason

Facilities Manager

Thomas Cason is a full-time member of our facilities management team, helping to make sure the 900+ acres of fields, forests, roads, bodies of water, and structures at camp are in top shape all year.

Thomas grew up in nearby Greenville, S.C., just down the mountain. In high school, Thomas was a three time all-State cross country runner, and won the 3A State Championship in both the 1600m and 3200m his senior year.

Thomas went on to Furman University on a cross country/track and field scholarship, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science, as well as a Masters degree in Education. He had a 16 year career as a running coach at several colleges in the southeast, before transitioning to working in summer camp facility management.

Thomas and his partner Daphne live in Hendersonville with their dog Skittles, and his hobbies include running, cycling, swimming, and carpentry.
