Skeet Keyes being inducted into the South Carolina Coaches Hall of Fame
We congratulate Skeet Keyes, a top counselor at Falling Creek Camp in the 70’s and 80’s, for becoming part of the South Carolina Coaches Hall of Fame.
Check out this interview video of Skeet after his induction. Skeet was always known for his enthusiasm and energy in camp. He started the Ironman competition at Falling Creek in 1982, a tradition that is alive an well today. There were close to 75 campers that competed in the 2013 Ironman race during main camp. Skeet also was a key leader in organizing the “Tuxedo Olympics” where Falling Creek invited several boys camps in the area over to FCC to compete in a traditional track meet. Yates and Goody still remember how much fun this was to have hundreds of campers and staff participating and cheering on their fellow campers on the ball field. We salute you Skeet. Well Done!
