Wilderness First Aid Certification at FCC

FCC Full-Time staff being re-certified in Wilderness First Aid

The full-time staff at Falling Creek Camp was recently re-certified in Wilderness First Aid. All FCC staff are required to have a minimum of a Wilderness First Aid certification, while all tripping and “out-of-camp” staff are required to have Wilderness Advanced First Aid. Many of these staff even carry a greater education called the Wilderness First Responder. During the upcoming 3-week Falling Creek Camp staff orientation, we partner with SOLO Southeast through the Nantahala Outdoor Center, who offer a superior training experience.
