A collection
for those of you who wonder
what camp looks like in autumn…
The leaves are beginning to gain color in mid-October, overlooking Upper Lake.
Autumn is a favorite season for the Falling Creek dogs. Lulu is taking a break after a long, playful day chasing the other dogs, barking at falling leaves, and exploring the land on a crisp, autumn afternoon in late October.
The leaves have finally become rich in color after a slow start to the autumn season. The overlook at the top of the mountain has always been an amazing place to watch the sun creep down over the distant mountains. The light really brings out the color on the outlying mountains.
Several inches of snow fell, welcoming in November. Some leaves, rich in color, still struggling to hold on as the heavy, wet snow fell from the sky. Several leaves submitted and silently descended with the frozen precipitation, scattering them over the white abyss. Several inches of snow sit on Falling Creek’s McGrady Family Gym.
