Why is cooking an important skill for boys to learn?

Cooking is an important life skill for everyone, since it can help teach self-sufficiency as you learn to prepare meals, practice basic math and fractions when scaling recipes up or down, and boosts self-confidence by creating your favorite foods and treats at home.

Cooking can also strengthen relationships if you do it together as a family. Plus, it’s fun and can encourage creativity in the kitchen. The best part is that the end result is something delicious!

7.) Lay out empanadas on a greased baking sheet. Brush the top of each empanada with more egg wash.

8.) Bake until golden brown, about 18-20 minutes.

Note:

If you can’t find the Baking Empanada Dough, use the frying dough and skip the egg wash. Fill a heavy duty skillet or shallow pot with 1 inch of vegetable oil. Heat to 350 degrees and fry the empanada until golden brown, flipping once to cook both sides.
