Sarah Howell

My name is Sarah Howell.
I’m known as Sarah.
I’m from Auburn, Alabama.
I am a nursing instructor at Southern Union State Community College in Opelika, AL.
This will be my 4th year on staff at Falling Creek (2021-2024).
I’ll be a camp nurse
Night owl or early bird? I guess more of a night owl, although at my age it is hard to stay up past 10:00 pm. :)
If I had my own late night talk show, the first guest I would invite on would be Betty White. She was a beautiful soul who provided so many people with laughter and joy.
My favorite holiday? That is a hard one. My family loves all the fall/winter holidays. We go all out on decorations for Halloween and Christmas. Nothing I love more than a festive house! I also love the time we get to spend with family during Thanksgiving, reflecting on all of our blessings.
If I could live anywhere in the world for a year, I would choose anywhere there is a beach and the high temperature is around 80 degrees. * My favorite way to get in some exercise? I love to hike and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Fun fact? I don’t know about fun, but I am kind of a nerd who loves school. I currently have 6 college degrees and would love to try my hand at law school one day.
What am I most looking forward to learning this summer? I tried my hand at blacksmithing last summer and loved it. So, maybe expanding on that skill. There are so many fun things to do at FCC!
