My name is Steve Feingold
I’m known as Doctor Steve (at camp; it’s grown on me), Steven, Steve, Hey you, I’m not picky
I’m from New York although I’ve lived in Charleston, SC for half my life
I am an Emergency Physician
This will be my 16th year on staff at Falling Creek (2010-2019, 2021-2026).
I’ll be a camp doctor.
What’s something I’ve completed on my “bucket list”? Hiking to and staying at Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon with my wife and children, two of whom were under 10. The Kaibab trail is my favorite. We went down Kaibab and up Bright Angel. I’ve done that at least twice. I’d like to do a rim to rim as I haven’t spent time at the North Rim.
My favorite sandwich is avocado toast on a wheat everything bagel with a poached egg on top. I like the combination of flavors and make it myself.
Something I’m currently trying to make a habit is making time for others. Continuing to workout on an almost daily basis. Being more organized and efficient.
