My name is Daniel Poole
I’m known as Dan
I’m from Manchester, England
This is my 3rd year on staff at Falling Creek (’19, ’24-’25)
I’m teaching archery
I work at a brewery as a bartender, making drinks for our customers. I’m also obtaining a psychotherapy qualification to become a therapist.
Early bird or night owl? I can be both, but predominantly i’m a night owl.
If I had my own late night talk show, who would be my first guest? I would choose a psychologist I admire who’s name is Dr. Ramani Durvasula. She specialises in narcissism, which for me is a topic I find fascinating.
My favorite holiday is Bonfire Night. This is a holiday/tradition we have on the 5th of November in England. We light a gigantic bonfire and set off fireworks. I really enjoy watching fireworks and I adore how the entire community gathers to admire the spectacle.
If I could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would I choose? I completely love England, but if I could live somewhere else it would be Denmark, Copenhagen specifically. The food is incredible and its meant to be the 2nd happiest country in the world. I was certainly happy when I was there eating my second pastry of the day.
My favorite way to get in some exercise? I love going for a walk. I live in a national park that is famous for its hills, here in the U.K.
Fun Fact: I can play four instruments.
