Maya Myinga

My name is Maimuna Myinga
I’m known as Maya
I am from Mbeya, Tanzania, East Africa.
I am working at my family’s strawberry farm and I volunteer at child support Tanzania where I help out kids with disabilities with day to day activities and teach them skills to live in day to day life.
This will be my first year on staff at Falling Creek.
I’ll be teaching F.A.R.M. and nature
I am happiest around nature ( the forest, the farm, the woods ) and I am the happiest around children. I am very passionate about working with children. It makes me very happy and makes me feel fulfilled.
If I could have dinner with anyone from history, I would have dinner with Maria Montessori.
My favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip
What recharges my batteries? Being around nature, getting in touch with family and listening to music.
My dream travel location is the United States of America
Fun fact about me is I have a hidden talent as a make up artist and I am really good at it. On top of that swimming is one of my favorite things to do and I love water games.
I am looking forward to meeting new people from different cultures. Building new connections but most of all spend wonderful time having fun educating those wonderful children.
