My name is Hays Edmunds
I’m from Birmingham, Alabama
I’m a Junior studying mechanical engineering at the University of Alabama
I was a Falling Creek camper for 7 years (2010-2016).
This will be my 2nd year on staff at Falling Creek (2021-22).
I’ll be teaching mountain biking during Father/Son Weekends.
I’m happiest playing music in front of people or playing in the mountains
If I could have dinner with anyone from history, I would choose Quentin Tarantino, how does he come up with that stuff?
My favorite flavor of ice cream is Chocolate Fudge Brownies (Ben & Jerry’s is preferred)
I “recharge my batteries” by getting out of town and sleeping in the woods! Movie nights take a close second.
Dream travel location? I’ve always wanted to visit the European Alps, and I finally get to go check them out this summer during my study abroad program!
Camp is always a great excuse for me to spend some quality time in the mountains of Western NC, but I always find myself learning a lot about leadership and making some great new friends too
