Falling Creek Camp Movies and Reunion hosted by the Milling Family in Atlanta on 9-30-12
Jayne Ann and Clay Milling hosted the Atlanta area Falling Creek Camp Movies and Reunion at their home. Their youngest son, Will, is returning to FCC for his 8th summer. There was a large group of returning camper families that welcomed many new families who came to learn more about camp.
Yates introduced special guests Andrew Smith and Ella Yates, both 4-year Falling Creek staff, who took time out from their busy jobs to come to support FCC. Andrew is studying to be a nurse practitioner at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, and Ella is an Assistant Director of Admissions and Dorm Adviser at The Webb School in Bell Buckle, TN. I know there were many families who were excited to see them.

Several FCC alumni were at the event, including Clay Milling, who was a camper and counselor. He was also on the canoeing staff with Yates. Robert Watkins, also a camper and counselor with Yates in the 80’s, brought his son Robbie, who will return to Main Camp at FCC for his 5th year. Lawton Jordan and Griffin Bell were excited to be able to bring their sons to the movie show tonight. Their boys will be going to FCC for their first summer. Griffin and Yates were in Cabin 8 together during June 3-week camp in 1978.
A big thank you to the Milling Family for hosting the Atlanta group tonight!
