HUCK Ottawa is an 8-day whitewater expedition in Canada focusing on the river running and play boating aspects of whitewater kayaking. Utilizing the scenic Ottawa River, participants will improve their paddling skills while enjoying the beauty of Ontario, Canada. The Ottawa will offer many different varieties of rapids for the expedition members to put their paddling skills to the test in a big water environment which is much different than the typical southeastern runs! HUCK Ottawa will run from July 22nd – July 29th, 2014.

Growing leadership skills and character values are a key part of the FCC Expeditions. You will notice that veteran FCC campers Alexander Thomas (10 summers), from Atlanta, GA and Andy Suleskey (9 summers), from Nokomis, FL, were both on this trip. These guys were both on the FCC staff this past summer, Andy on the paddling staff, and Alexander as a co-head of the mountain biking staff.
