Big Night in Birmingham

Yates traveled west to Birmingham, AL where Mary Virginia and Josh Mandell hosted the Falling Creek Camp movies and reunion in their lovely home. Their sons, Ham and Mac will be returning to FCC for the 2017 summer, this time for 3 weeks. Many thanks Mandell family for being such wonderful hosts tonight!

The boys were joined by dads who were campers at Falling Creek or who have attended Father/Son Weekend. Dusty Davis, FCC’s Chaplain took time out of his busy schedule to come tonight to see everyone. He and his wife Mary Lou have raised their two sons and daughter here in B’ham. There were a number of new families who came tonight to learn more about life at camp from the current campers. Spencer and Young Spencer South (left) and Haywood and Hays Edmunds are fathers and sons and all 4 are Falling Creek campers. No question Haywood and big Spencer are loving the fact that their sons are gaining the same positive camp experiences that they did.
