Bevan and Chris Liverman hosted the Dallas, TX Falling Creek Camp Movies and Reunion tonight (Wed, Nov.9) at their lovely home. Their sons, Jake and Miller Rhine, who will be returning to FCC this summer, joined with several veteran campers to help Yates explain to the many boys who have not been why they enjoy their camp experiences.
There was a great mix of returning campers and boys who came to learn more about FCC. Additionally, Ryan Tinch and Tom Madine, who were FCC campers years ago, brought their sons tonight. Emily Craft Broad, in the center of the back row, was a counselor in the late 80’s with Marisa, Yates, and Goody. She and Rick Broad met at camp and remained on staff through the mid 90’s. Their three sons are veteran campers and HUCK Expedition paddlers. John White, left, is returning to Father/Son weekend with his son John.
Everyone enjoyed the chicken tenders, fruit, tasty sandwiches, and treats Bevan and Chris offered.
The boys really enjoy that Cheerwine…..“Born in the south and raised in a glass”
Brian Minnehan, and his son Patrick, have been coming to Father/Son Weekend for about 5 summers now. Patrick’s younger brother Davis was thrilled to join them this past year.
The boys and parents enjoy the updated Falling Creek Camp movie
