- My name is Liz Sparks
- I’m from Tallahassee, FL
- This is my 3rd year on staff at Falling Creek (’23,’25-’26)
- I’ll be a camp nurse
- I’m retired from several careers. I worked as an RN for 20 years in various areas. I also worked for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Florida State Parks for 19 years. I was involved in nature-based tourism, community outreach and recreation trail development, primarily paddling trails.
- What’s something I’ve completed on my bucket list? I went skydiving once and unknowingly landed on the target, didn’t ever need to repeat. I was a ski him in Switzerland for several seasons in the 70s, hitching all over Europe and spent 6 months in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka in the 70s. Now I’m traveling on this side of the globe and enjoying epic road trips
- Something I’m currently trying to make a habit is speaking Spanish
- The best gift I’ve ever received is good health and close family
