Ezra Smith

My name is Ezra Smith
I’m from all over, but I grew up in Charlottesville, VA
I’m currently a Junior at VCU, pursuing a B.A. in Theatre
This is my 2nd year on staff at Falling Creek (’26-’27)
I’m teaching nature and archery
I’ve been getting REALLY into Magic The Gathering…
My favorite camp tradition? Campfire in general has to be my favorite, I’m a big fan of community and ritual.
If I could be any animal, I’d be an otter, they have a certain whimsy about them.
My childhood hero was my camp counselor Ti Ames, for encouraging me in my passions even when I struggled.
What habit or skill do I want to improve this summer? I want to expand my outdoor skills and really lean into building community and setting good habits!
If I could snap my fingers and teleport anywhere & any time period, I would go to the original production of William Shakespeare’s Henry V, both to see the show and answer the question of if Shakespeare really existed.
I’m happiest being outside and exploring with friends!
The accomplishment I’m most proud of is writing and directing a full length play in the course of 30 hours.
What makes me excited about this summer? Getting to see everyone and being further away from technology.
