Jake Brooker

• My name is Nicholas Brooker
• I’m known as Jake
• I’m from Columbia, South Carolina
• I just graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in finance! I also commissioned into the Army as a 2nd Lt, and will be attending flight school after the summer
• I was a camper for 3 summers (’14-’16)
• This is my first year on staff at Falling Creek
• I’m teaching fishing and riflery
• My favorite magical or mythical creature? Dragons! Is there anything cooler than flying?
• My favorite sandwich is a turkey club on lightly toasted honey wheat! It has deli turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and S&P. A perfect and filling sandwich, for every occasion!
• Something I’m trying to make a habit? I am currently trying to read more books to help disconnect from social media. I recently read Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein, and it really renewed my love for books!
• The best present I’ve ever received? Every day I get to wake up to the fresh mountain air in beautiful North Carolina! I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
