- I’m known as Mau
- I’m from Los Angeles, CA
- I’m in my first year at Saint Mary’s College of California, majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Anthropology.
- This is my first year on staff at Falling Creek
- I’m teaching woodworking and outdoor skills
- My favorite mythological animal is the Centaur. A few months ago I read the book, The Song of Achilles. In this book, a Centaur was Achilles’ mentor in his training for the Troy war. This book definitely opened my eyes to Greek mythology and its creatures like the Centaur.
- Something I’ve completed on my “bucket list?” I am the first in my family to enroll in a 4-year college, making me extremely proud of myself and how far I’ve come.
- My favorite sandwich is a Caprese sandwich. It’s pesto, balsamic glaze, mozzarella, tomato, and basil. It’s very plain, but definitely the best in my opinion.
