Regina Garcia De Villa

  • My name is Regina
  • I’m from Puebla, Mexico
  • I’m in my first year at Universidad Iberoamericana de Puebla, and I study nutrition and food science
  • This is my first year on staff at Falling Creek
  • I’m teaching sailing
  • If I could be any animal, I would be an otter because they’re really smart, playful, curious, and they love spending time with others. I also think they’re really cute and fun.
  • My childhood heroes were my parents
  • What habit or skill do I want to improve this summer? I would like to become more adventurous and push myself to try things I wouldn’t normally do in Mexico.
  • If I could snap my fingers and teleport anywhere & any time period, I would like to go back to July 2025, when I was in Rome for the Jubilee, at the Holy Hour with the Pope and my friends.
  • I’m happiest when I’m dancing flamenco, sailing on the weekends in Acapulco, spending time at the beach or at the lake with my family, going out with my friends, and just being with my family.
  • What accomplishment am I most proud of? I’m proud of myself for spending a year in another country with a family that wasn’t my own and for overcoming many of my fears during that year.
  • I’m excited to learn more about sailing this summer, improve my skills, and be able to share those skills with others.
