TJ Westbrook
Maintenance and Facilities Director
TJ Westbrook is the Director of our maintenance and facilities management team, overseeing the many aspects of care that 900+ acres of fields, forests, roads, bodies of water, and camp structures require. The maintenance team continually works to make improvements to our program and setting, our aesthetic, and our high standard of safety in activity areas.
TJ brings a wealth of management experience with him to Falling Creek, after working for Publix Supermarkets for 17 years, helping them expand into North Carolina and train future leaders for Publix as Grocery Manager. His most recent role was as Merchandiser, where he oversaw the remodels, special projects, resets, and new store openings across four states and roughly 40 stores in his territory.
TJ is originally from Athens, GA, but spent much of his life in Eustis, FL. He is married to his best friend and high school sweetheart Jasmine Westbrook, who also works at camp as Administrative Assistant and Camp Store Manager. They live just down the road from camp in Zirconia, NC with two horses, two dogs, and two cats.
Being able to work in the outdoors was appealing to TJ, who enjoys any hobbies that take place outside and with family or friends. His interests include hiking, mountain biking, paddling, horseback riding, hunting, fishing and riding ATV’s.
For TJ, the fast pace, teamwork, high standards, and outdoor setting found at Falling Creek is a combination that makes the days feel more like a fulfilling challenge or adventure rather than work. After spending a couple summers working weekend events at Falling Creek, we’re thrilled that TJ has joined the team full time.
